Malibu Beach Engagement Session
The classic and timeless tale of a matchmaker made sure Aaron and Lauren’s paths intertwined at 5 am. On the tail end of hospital night shifts, Aaron’s received Lauren’s phone number and picture with from a fellow coworker. Shortly after, the pair made plans for a date night at a local burger joint where the night was filled with an easy and fun-loving conversation where stories were shared, and similarities between the two were discovered. One of these was the fact that both were products of Caribbean medical schools. As time passed, both Aaron and Lauren set time aside from their busy schedules and painfully long commutes to each other’s houses to commit to getting to know each other even better. Their relationship grew, as the two began to learn to love each other’s quirks and values until one day Aaron took a knee during their hike in the Arizona heat and asked for Lauren’s hand in marriage. Lauren extaticly said yes, and the deal was sealed.
From dates that involved adventure and outdoors, to the couple’s engagement shoot amidst the backdrop of the stunning El Matador beach in Malibu, the essence of Lauren & Aaron’s love stems from the special bond they share for their love of the outdoors. The wedding will be al fresco in the Spring, surrounded with luscious greenery and a combination of simplistic elegance and rustic chic charm. With colors such as blush and greens, their wedding is sure to create an environment that is not only relaxing but embodies the passion and love of the couple for each other and their easy-going nature. Their wedding will be taking place at Calimigos Ranch in Malibu, this venue is nestled in Latigo Canyon where soothing waterfalls and regal oak trees set the mood. Shaded by a canopy of various trees, the couple will share their vows and share their hand in marriage, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Our overall vision and design for this wedding is to bring the outdoors in.
