A Tuscan Dream Overlooking the Pacific
As their wedding planner and designer, creating a celebration at Villa Sancti, a Malibu mansion wedding venue, is always a joy. This estate is one of Malibu’s most breathtaking properties, and it transports every guest straight to the Italian coast. For Stephany and Sandro’s wedding weekend, I designed a celebration that blended old-world Tuscan romance with the natural beauty of Malibu’s dramatic coastline.

Why I Love Planning Weddings at Villa Sancti in Malibu
Located in one of the most picturesque areas of Malibu, Villa Sancti Di Bella Vista is a private Tuscan-style estate with exclusive access to Paradise Cove. Although the venue sits minutes away from high-end restaurants, coastal trails, and boutique shopping, it feels worlds away—quiet, secluded, and intimate.
The estate features panoramic ocean views, a flourishing vineyard, and nearly two acres of award-winning formal gardens. Because of this, the venue delivers the rare combination of Italian-inspired architecture and coastal California views. It’s the only Malibu venue that truly gives you the feeling of being transported to Italy while still overlooking the Pacific.

The Vision: An Italian Destination Wedding – Without Leaving California
From the very beginning, Stephany and Sandro wanted a wedding that felt like it could have taken place in Tuscany. Because of that, Villa Sancti was the perfect setting. Its stone architecture, romantic arches, and terraced gardens created a rich, sensory backdrop.
To honor their vision, we blended soft European styling with modern California elegance. As a result, the celebration became a seamless fusion of the old world and the new.

Ceremony in the Main Lawn
The couple exchanged vows in the main lawn, surrounded by manicured cypress trees, hedges, trees, and soft ocean breezes. We designed a floral installation that looked as though the arch was creating a frame—loose, romantic, and textured. This space is one of my favorites for ceremonies because it offers privacy, beauty, and a dramatic coastal view all at once.

Cocktail Hour Overlooking the Vineyard
Next, guests moved up to the terrace for cocktail hour. Transitioning the event to this area added movement, energy, and a completely new visual experience. The vineyard glowed in the warm Malibu sunlight, and guests enjoyed signature cocktails inspired by the couple’s Italian travels.

Dinner on the Upper Sports Court
Finally, dinner took place on the upper sports court beneath the estate’s iconic frame which was adorned with chandeliers and florals. Long Tuscan-style tables filled the lawn, lined with taper candles and heirloom floral arrangements in dusty blush, apricot, and deep greens. With every breeze, the sound of the ocean created the perfect ambiance.
As night fell, guests dined under the stars. It felt like you were in a garden in the middle of Tuscany—yet it was right here in Malibu.

Why Villa Sancti Continues to Be a Favorite Malibu Mansion Wedding Venue
Every time I plan a wedding at Villa Sancti, I’m reminded why this property is one of a kind. Its European charm, oceanfront location, and complete privacy make it ideal for couples who desire a full weekend wedding experience. The estate feels like stepping into another world—one filled with romance, elegance, and effortless beauty.
